Chris Fabricant is a criminal defense attorney and clinical law professor at Pace Law School. Chris also practiced criminal appellate work with Appellate Advocates in New York City. On behalf of his clients he has litigated in nearly every venue in New York, including The Court of Appeals and in federal court.

Chris is a frequent commentator on TruTV (formerly Court TV) and has commented as an expert on criminal justice issues on WNYC (Morning Edition); Air America/The Sundance Channel (The Al Fraken Show); ESPN Radio and NPR affiliates around the county. His writing has appeared in Details magazine; The Village Voice; AustinChronicle.com, and High Times magazine.

As a student at George Washington University Law School, Chris clerked with Human Rights First and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. After graduating with Honors and a Corpus Juris Secundum distinction in criminal law, Chris was a pro se law clerk for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, where he contributed to and edited the Overview of Pro Se Litigation for District Court Law Clerks.

Born in New York City, Chris was raised in Sedona, Arizona and returned to New York after law school. He lives with his wife Tonya and son Oscar in Brooklyn.
